Bob Harris, far past his prime, is an American film actor. He appears in the ad, and he was in Tokyo, in Charlotte, the young wife of a visiting photographer met. Bored and weary, Bob and Charlotte make ideal if improbable traveling companions. Charlotte, looking for a place in life, and Bob is tolerating a mediocre marriage United States. Both separately and together, they live the experience of the American in Tokyo. Bob and Charlotte suffer due to cultural and language differences between themselves and the Japanese both confusion and hilarity. The relationship between Bob and Charlotte deepens, they on their visits to Japan, and one another, must soon come to realize that. Or should they? |
